PuppySmarts LLC owns and operates Happy Puppy Kindergarten and Linda White and Company. Linda White is president and founder of PuppySmarts LLC, which specializes in all aspects of puppy training. She is a Tellington Touch Practitioner, a Reiki Master and a Canine Acupressurist. She works with behavior, illness and geriatric issues.
Her understanding and gentle approach when working with canine behaviors makes sense to caregivers and is very effective in helping overcome common behavior challenges.
The Humane Society of the United States has reviewed her methods favorably as well as behaviorists across the country. She has many testimonials from veterinarians and happy caregivers alike. Her effective and fun classes have gained attention in newspapers, magazines and TV.
After a little research, she found that the number of dogs surrendered to shelters and euthanized was mind-boggling. Even more saddening was how many of these dogs could have been saved if people had affordable training tools to deal with these behaviors. Many of these behaviors are not addressed in normal obedience classes and most people cannot afford private trainers. And so, PuppySmarts was conceived as a way to help owners slow or reverse the growth in the number of dogs euthanized each year and to help people who could not attend a weekly scheduled class.
Linda decided to create a series of convenient training tools to help caregivers overcome common behavior challenges. The tools needed to be convenient, specific, easy to learn and easy to review. These training lessons are easy, inexpensive, effective and fun for caregivers and puppies alike.
Since that time, PuppySmarts has received numerous endorsements from veterinarians and behaviorists alike. She regularly gives classes and lectures to veterinarians, veterinary technicians and support staff on how to incorporate the latest behavior techniques into their practices.
