At the age of 6, my son asked for his own dog. We already had two other dogs in the house, but I told him that he could have his own dog if he took the responsibility to train the dog himself by going to classes. He agreed. Annie, his rat terrier, came to live with us and we began to search for a puppy class for Gavin and Annie to attend. We wanted a trainer that used positive training techniques only. Luckily for us, we found Linda White.

After a long conversation about her class, Gavin and Annie enrolled. They ended up attending three classes taught by Linda. In the third class, Linda exposed the class to agility. Gavin was thrilled and decided to pursue agility with Annie. Gavin has now been doing agility with Annie for three years now. He was even an assistant for classes at our local agility club. He has a gift for working with dogs that began thanks to Linda. We can't thank Linda enough for opening Gavin up to the wonderful and loving world of animals. His respect for animals is amazing for a 10 year old. Linda nurtured this respect. He talks about becoming a trainer or handler in the future. We owe it all to Linda! Thanks!
